2.7.2018 Class Notes


Extremes
  • No monster children or birth
  • Monsters can be large, but the larger they are the more immobile they are
  • If we do a traumatic event, we eliminate and lower the trauma so it doesn't feel like a game with fail states
  • We can go extreme with things that happen to kid, just never hurt him. Or do things that would potentially kill him
  • Baseline of around 4 time your height for the monsters, can be larger or smaller
  • You could climb a tree, but not go between trees
  • flying monsters could teleport you to different areas
  • no swimming but wading
  • No health meter, but maybe an energy meter
  • Some simple set of monster guiding rules
  • monsters not too bright or ambitious about being smart
  • Class distinctions may be just on a monster by monster basis
  • Limited pictorial writing communication
